Scott Bostley Founder and Managing Partner

Scott Bostley
Founder and Managing Partner

As the founding Member of Benefit Strategy Partners and People & Culture Consortium, Scott specializes in advising employers nationally and internationally on group health, life and disability benefit funding methods, plan design, cost containment, flexible benefits, and state and federal compliance issues.

Scott began working for several national insurance carriers before working at a national brokerage firm and then starting BSP. With over 20 years of experience, Scott has a strong knowledge of the total delivery system and funding options that afford clients the most cost effective solutions for their employee benefit needs.

Scott has experience in all aspects of health and welfare plans. Scott has designed, underwritten, communicated and implemented managed care, HRA/HSA/FSA compatible and indemnity medical plans, dental plans, vision plans, prescription drug plans, short and long term disability plans, life and AD&D plans, employee assistance programs (EAPs), business travel accident plans, stop loss, enrollment services and voluntary worksite benefit plans.

Scott has established a culture of collaboration amongst BSP’s team members, and always doing what’s in the client’s best interest.


Danielle Levy Business Operations Manager

With a background in people operations and digital consulting, Danielle has experience in the traditional business world and the entrepreneurial space. An integrator at heart, Danielle is responsible for identifying new opportunities, removing barriers, and ensuring a proactive environment to support BSP’s vision to serve our clients at the highest levels.

Danielle focuses on developing and managing the core systems and processes for Benefit Strategy Partners, ensuring efficiency, best-in-class services, and long-term sustainability.

She holds an MBA from the University of Massachusetts and a B.S. from Boston College. She is certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP), an EOS Masterclass graduate, and a Certified Online Business Manager.

Danielle is an energetic mother of two boys who understands the balance between being a hockey mom and a successful entrepreneur.


Kevin Duffy Account Coordinator

Kevin Duffy is an Account Coordinator at BSP. Kevin is responsible for managing all aspects of BSP clients’ benefit plans, policies and data to ensure clients and their plan participants’ benefit plans operate properly.

Kevin graduated from UMass Dartmouth with a B.S. in Marketing and a Minor in Business Management. Kevin brings industry experience to our team, having worked for CVS Health in the Leave of Absence department. Kevin assisted with managing the influx of FMLA Leaves due to the pandemic, as well as assisting in the execution of payroll for employees on leave.

In addition to his academic and work history, Kevin exhibits the qualities that embody our firm – attention to detail, commitment to providing an exceptional level of service and a genuine interest in employee benefits.


Katie O’Connor
Employee Benefits Administrator

BSP is excited to have Katie as an Employee Benefits Administrator. With established professional corporate experience, Katie’s passion for providing the highest level of client service lent to her proven track record of developing strong, trusted relationships with both clients and her colleagues.

Katie’s keen attention to detail, exemplary organizational and follow-through skills, while consistently meeting important deadlines, supports her strong project management skills. Katie’s experience includes training, onboarding, and mentoring new colleagues.

Katie aims to make a positive impact to BSP, its clients, and their employees.

When not working, Katie enjoys going to the gym, traveling, and spending time with her dogs Lola, Jack, and Lucy.


Abby Fernandes
Employee Benefits Administrator Intern

Abby Fernandes joins BSP as an Employee Benefits Administrator intern. Abby is a Junior Health Policy & Management major and Accountancy minor at Providence College. She has succeeded academically and possesses strong leadership and analytical skills from her entrepreneurial background. Having started and grown her own business, Abby has developed a goal-oriented mindset, does what it takes to complete the job efficiently and welcomes taking on new projects. 

Through the Health Policy Management courses, Abby developed a strong interest in the insurance side of healthcare, specifically employee benefits. Abby has learned about the financial side of healthcare from financial management and health law courses. Knowledge of healthcare systems and accountancy from her studies at PC will enhance Abby’s impact at BSP.


Mei Li Lawrence Employee Benefits Administrator Intern

Mei Li (“May-Lee”) is a Junior Health Policy & Management Major at Providence College with a double-minor in Accountancy and Economics. She has maintained a strong academic reputation, while balancing a rigorous course load tailored to her interests in business and health. Mei Li has learned about the American healthcare system, analyzed financial reports, and studied the relationship between production and consumption.

In previous service-based roles, Mei Li demonstrated critical thinking and organizational skills through implementation of new procedures that optimized efficiency. Already exhibiting strong initiative, Mei Li is excited to gain valuable industry experience while supporting the BSP team and our clients!
